Investor's clubŚwinoujście - the town with perspectivesŚwinoujścieIt is one of the most liked Polish seaside resorts that are highly valued among domestic and foreign tourists. It is situated in the north-western end of Poland, in West Pomerania voivodeship, at the outlet of the River Świna to the Baltic Sea. Świnoujście is located on several tens of islands. Only three of those islands are inhabited: the Usedom Island, the Wolin Island and the Karsibór Island. Each of them differs in character. Industry is located on the Wolin Island, administrative and services centre together with the seashore district and numerous tourist attractions are located on the Usedom Island and agrotourism, angling and water sports can be practiced on the Kasibór Island. Transport:Situated at the Polish border, Świnoujście is easily accessed thanks to:
NatureThe big asset of the town is its beautiful and much diversified nature. Beside sandy beaches, there are vast forests and parks, sea and mainland basin, vast meadows and peat-bogs with diversified animal and plant life. Most town areas are constituted by waters (ca. 50%) and rural areas, forests and land with trees (30%) and the urbanised areas constitute only ca. 9% of its surface. Green lands constitute as much as 70% of the land part of the town. The picturesque location of Świnoujście and its favourable climate, as well as numerous attractions Świnoujście can offer to the visitors make the town a very popular destination and situate it as one of the most valued seaside resorts by Poles and foreign tourists. The visits in town are additionally influenced by its location close to communication routes ensuring access to the town both for Poles and for foreign tourists. The popularity of the town and the town's economic potential (investment projects in the region), as well as a very close perspective of free movement of people from the neighbouring countries (provisions of the Schengen Treaty) make Świnoujście be perceived as the town with large growth potential. This is reflected in first big real estate projects, which make an effort to meet the needs of supplementing the town's relatively neglected accommodation basis with new hotel rooms meeting high expectations of health resort clients. At the same time, these projects directly influence the change in the town's image. |
